Wellington Island

Wellington Island is a man-made island created from earth dredged, while deepening the Kochi Port. The island is named after Lord Wellington, the British Viceroy. A number of Hotels and Government Offices are functioning here. The Harbour, Air Port and Harbour Railway Terminus are in this island.
