Alleppey goes by these and many names. Located in Kerala, the peaceful southern most state of India, Alleppey is situated on the confluence of the Vembanad lake, Kerala's biggest backwaters, and the Arabian sea, offering a setting like nowhere else in the world.

Accommodation

Accommodation at Kayaloram is ethnic Kerala. Independent Tharavadu (ancient Kerala houses) offering 12 bed rooms and all amenities. The Tharavadu have been painstakingly re-assembled from the original, using only wood, bricks and tiles. Even most door hinges are wood. A unique feature of these Tharavadu is the bathrooms with open to sky roofs, offering you a communion with nature.

Location / Access

Kayaloram is 15 minutes off Alleppey town and is accessible by road and water. Alleppey is 090 kms from Cochin airport and 150 kms from Trivandrum Airport.

May we introduce our company to you, Kayaloram Ayurvedic Lake Resort is a heritage Resort based in Alleppey, Kerala that have been established for five years.

Our resort is in the backwaters of Alleppey. The resort is located on an exclusive stretch of prime waterfront in the VEMBANAD Lake. Accommodation at Kayaloram is ethnic Kerala. Independent Tharavads offering 12 bedrooms and bathrooms with open to sky roofs. Facilities includes swimming pool, Ayurvedic centre, restaurant, canoeing, fresh water swimming and rides on speedboat, motor boats & House boats. The full-fledged restaurant serves everything from typical Kerala cuisine to continental cuisine.

KAYALORAM has been recognized by the DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM, GOVERNMENT OF KERALA as an APPROVED AYURVEDIC CENTRE. Our Ayurvedic centre is run by M/s. Kerala Ayurvedic Pharmacy, Aluva established half a century ago and now one of the most well known in Kerala.

We would like to mention that Kayaloram has a heritage theme, with old Kerala houses rebuilt in a most beautiful location in the backwaters. We do not have Air conditioning, TV/Radio, telephones in rooms, room service etc.

At the Ayurvedic centre in Kayaloram we have a qualified and highly experienced Ayurveda physician and male & female technicians. Women will have the service of female therapist for body massage and other health programs. Chronic headache, insomnia, osteo arthritis, rheumatic diseases Nasal and ear ailments etc. have beneficial & effect through Ayurvedic treatments. Treatments will be done only after consultation with doctors. Given below are the few Rejuvenation packages.

Rejuvenation Packages

Package: 01 Rejuvenation Therapy
Duration	One and a half hours / day for 07 to 14 days
This is a complete rejuvenation therapy comprising of synchronised special massage, Herbal steam bath, Njavarakizhi, Pizichil etc. this carefully planed health program is directed towards and vitality. It will also go on long way to tone up the skin and improve complexion.
Package: 02 Body Immunisation
Duration	One and a half hours/day for 07 to 21 days.
This is complete immunisation therapy comprising of relevant rejuvenation Therapy and Panchakarma Therapy, which varies from person to person. The Ayurveda Doctor in the centre will suggest the suitable program. This carefully planned health program is directed towards strengthening the immune system in order to achieve ideal health and to prevent seasonal diseases.
Package: 03 Body Sudation
Duration	One hour per day for 07 days.
This package comprises synchronized massage and herbal steam bath. This is meant for improving physical consistency, better eye sight, inducing deep sleep, reduces high blood pressure elimination of impurities in the system etc. it improves the complexion and texture of the skin and provides shining and softness to the skin.
Package: 04 Body slimming
Duration	one hour per day for 07 days.
This package is deep massage using herbal powers. This reduces obesity, imparts, mobility to joints, strengthens muscles and refreshes the body.
Package: 05 Panchakarma Therapy
Duration	02 Hours a day for 07 to 14 days.
The package contains the famous Panchakarma [05 therapies] and some of the sub therapies. It is a total and integrated health pack meant for both the healthy and sick. The packages are for seven days and can be extended up to 14 to 21 days. Therapies include synchronized massage, herbal steam bath, Njavarakizhi, Pizichil sirodhara etc. following Panchakarma therapy.

Panchakarma includes

Vamana

This is inducted vomiting and is done by giving emetic drugs orally along with a large quantity of liquids. The subject is allowed to vomit all contents of the stomach. It is indicted in bronchial asthma, cough, psoriasis, epilepsy, anemia, insanity etc.

Virechana [Purgation]

It is done by oral administration of purgative drugs. Indicated in skin diseases, urinary disorders, flatulence, anemia, stomatitis, insanity, arthritis etc.

Snehavasthi [ Oil enema]

This is a special enema where the main ingredient is medicated oil.

Kasha Vasthi [Special enema]

It is done by administering medicated decoctions. Indicated in rheumatism, arthritis, low back pain, spondylosis, sciatica, flatulence, pain in hip joints, hemiplegia etc

Nasyam [Errhines]

This is done by administrating medicines generally medicated oils through the nostrils. Indicated in headache, bronchial asthma, neuralgia, ear ache, sinusitis, facial paralysis etc.

Note: There will be exclusive regimes for each visitor. Diet, dress regulations day to day activities etc. will be monitored as per the prescription of the physician. The above package includes selected treatments in combinations as per the doctor's decision.
