Olive Brook is the brainchild of Mr. Varkey, a school teacher. Situated on a 8 acre lush green cardamom estate, Olive Brook opened its doors to guests on the 1st of May, 2003. In a very short span of time Olive Brook has captured the hearts of guests from all over the world (click Link ‘Visitor’s Book’- The Brook of Inspiration). Far from the hustles and bustles of Munnar, Olive Brook unleashes a whole new world of sunshine, fresh air, pure mountain spring water, varieties of birds, trees, mountains, streams, caves, flowers, acres of cardamom and tea plantations. Stunning views from the rooms, highly personalized services, excellent food and spick and span interiors; any which way you look at it, Olive Brook stands out in the clutter. Enjoy the Attukad waterfalls, climb up the rocks, bathe in the lake, have snacks in the cave. Proceed to visit two pristine villages. Witness the unique ‘Grama Panchayath’, the good old traditional village court. And finally, a trip to cardamom plantations and the dense forests of Bison Valley.
