  'Pampa
Theeram', the pleasant tourist's resort, is situated on the bank of
tributary of the holy Pampa River which is rich in glories legends, history
and culture. It is sanctified by great Temples and Churches, and is endowed
with nature's lavish beauty and splendor. The very atmosphere is sure
to attune sensitive minds to the grand mystery of nature. Our great epic
'Ramayana' extols the sanctity of the river Pampa. Its very origin is
unique. The three rivulets issuing out from the Sabari hills meet and
merge and flow down, and in its long windy course of 179 km it is enriched
by 258 tributaries, and becomes broad and deep and majestic when it reaches
Kuttanad. This river has rich and rare medicinal value and is curative
of many diseases.

to the popular legend, a pious but illiterate aboriginal woman 'Neeli'
was blesses by Lord Rama and she was transfigured into the river Pampa.
There is no doubt that this perennial river has a unique beauty and

Kuttanad:
Kuttanad where our Resort stands is rightly called the granary of Kerala.
This land which is below the sea-level is an endless expanse of Paddy-field,
all green and luscious. It is the very cream of Nature's wondrous beauty.
Pookaitha, a tributary of the river Pampa, flows on through the heart
of Kuttanad; it is a placid rivulet of exquisite charm, which seems
to mirror nature in all its beauty. Our Resort stand on the bank of
this lovely little river. On the eastern side are canals and on the
northern side is the long stretch of green Paddy fields. The whole area
is dotted with tidy huts and cozy homes.
