Seaweed offers excellent facilities that is bound to satisfy every guest.
There are 40 double rooms mostly sea facing, all with en-suite facilities.
A choice of A/C and non A/C rooms are available. The cost of the rooms
vary from Rs. 600/- to Rs 1200/- plus 7.5% tax for non A/C rooms and Rs
1200/- to Rs.1400/- plus 15% tax for A/C rooms. During the peak season
(15 December to 15 January) an extra cost of Rs 100/- will be charged
per room and an off season discount of 20% on room rent will apply during
1st May to 30th September. Check out time is 12 noon. Hotel
Seaweed's roof top restaurant has a wide range of selection covering
Indian, Chinese and Continental specialties. The restaurant provides
a splendid view of the lighthouse and the beach. The menu is mostly
continental a-la-carte, with a wide variety of choice. Special menu
will be prepared on order. Some of the other facilities available at the hotel includes Bath attached rooms, Roof restaurant, Room service, Airport reception, Taxi service, Car Parking, Tour arranging, Foreign money changing, Doctor on Call, Conference Hall, Discounted group bookings. The hotel will be happy to arrange local and other tours, sightseeing, boat cruises etc. on request at an extra cost. The hotel will also be happy to give an agency commission of 10% on room rent to authorized travel agencies. Tailor made packages to suit individuals or groups can be worked out on prior notification. Amongst the three crescent shaped beaches of Kovalam, the Lighthouse beach is the most popular. The hotel is approximately 14 kms from Trivandrum international airport and about 16 kms from Trivandrum central railway station. You can reach the hotel from the airport or the railway station by either taking a taxi or a local bus.
